From Criss Juliard

"I must confess that I am surprised by the results, particularly with fruit trees. In one banana plantation, vetiver was planted along half a hectare, and next to it another half hectare without vetiver. The results are staggering. Good production on the first plot with no run off, NO production yet and less leaf on the next, and deep riling. As this was established on a plantation owned by a member of a banana producer's association, the entire association has now adopted the use of vetiver hedging between alternating rows. The stimulus is the demand for nurseries to produce the plant.
