Floating pontoons can be very useful for cleaning sewage & other industrial effluents stored in tanks before safe disposal or further use. Pontoons can be made from therm-col sheets. But I want to get a very clear detailed design with proper instruction, so that it can be made using bamboo logs which are nature friendly.
Can anybody help?

Noah Manarang had community training for pontoons in a photo essay on Facebook which detailed one particular design. I've just gone to check the link and they seem to be gone.
It was in this thread - http://vetiver.org/flux/viewtopic.php?pid=537#p537
Now, I would possibly check Noah Manarang's personal page or Vetiver Phillipines (from memory) to see if they still exist. Give me a few minutes and I will try for you.
I have not seen a single detailed design as everyone has different takes on styles, methods, materials and sizes. You raise a good point that perhaps there should be standardised designs.

There is a bamboo design there you can see from multiple angles.
Check the photos here as well - https://www.facebook.com/pg/VetiverFarm … e_internal - there are some shots of some military personnel floating a pontoon which is another one to check out.
