Level terrace has formed at the end of one of the unfinished hedges. Erosion exposing the Vetiver roots on the right has backed up on hedge at left.

Single tillers left over from propagating clumps fit inside forestry tubes and is another way to baby poorer-quality material up to the 3 tiller standard.
